It is important to mount to the power transistor on a good dissipater, in addition it must be isolated electrically of this one.
For the adjustment of the potentiometers it will be come from the following form:
1) One will verify that all the potentiometers are in their midpoint and it will be connected to the network.
2) It will be turned in sense in opposition to the needles of the clock to the potentiometer of exit tension and one will verify that the tension indeed falls.
3) To place the external potentiometer of tension to the maximum in the sense of the needles of the clock and to fit with the P1 potentiometer the 24 value of V in the exit.
4) With external the P2 potentiometer we will vary the tension of exit from 0 to 24 V.
5) To place a variable resistor when coming out. With the P3 potentiometer in the sense of the needles of the clock it will be acted to the maximum on the load resistance, observing that the current increases, if it arrives at a point that the low tension, is signal that the source is working to constant current, to drive then the P4 potentiometer and to repeat the action until the maximum current is of 1 A.
6) To slowly lower still more the load resistance and to observe that the current stays constant in value 1 To, continuing until the resistance is zero, having to stay the current in 1 A.
7) To drive the potentiometer of intensity in sense in opposition to the needles of the clock, being observed that the current falls until a value next to zero.
Variant of the source that provides an operation so that the maximum current of short circuit is of 0.1 A
Variant of the source that can work to constant current around the maximum tension of operation up to 15 V
