This source owns the inclusion of a limitor circuit of current, which will avoid that the components of the same in case of a short circuit or an excessive load in the exit are damaged. It can provide tension of 0 to 15 Volts and currents up to 2 Amperes. The unique recommendation important to consider is:
* The Q1 transistor must be placed on a good thermal dissipater.
In order calibrate limitor of current, if it is not had an ammeter that can measure like minimum 2 Amperes, can be made of the following form.
1) To totally place the R5 potentiometer towards the connected end that this to the Zener.
2) To fit by means of R1 the voltage from exit to 4.4V.
3) To place between the terminals of exit a resistance of 2,2 ohms 10W.
4) To move R5 slowly until the exit reaches 4.4V again. To leave it in that position.
